I joined WSC over 30 years a go and they encouraged me to become an instructor and I’m still here 30 years later. You may also find me at Wylye Valley Pony Club.

My love of ponies is one of my earliest memories, I have been completely smitten all my life. We have three adorable ponies George (pictured above), Barnaby & Teddy. I worked with horses many years ago, prior to spending over 30 years in admin roles, so my job at WSC is like a dream come true - my best friend says I’ll be here until I retire!

I started work in 1977 as an apprentice car mechanic until 1986. I then worked at Mars Drinks for 27 years. My family have owned a number of horses and ponies for many years supporting my children through pony club, Prince Phillip Cup Mounted Games, Eventing and Show Jumping.

I have been working with horses for over 12 years in a variety of settings including livery yards, competition yards, racing rehab and riding schools.
I have my own pony, Millie, who likes to keep life interesting (we'll leave it at that)! I love working with the Team at WSC and when it comes to the horses I have a particular soft spot for Tessie!

I've been riding at WSC for around 6 years, during which time, despite falling off her countless times, Tilly has become my favourite pony. Tilly & I have now been working together for coming up to 3 years. Liv & I spend loads of time with the ponies. We are known for throwing ourselves into helping with special events and taking loads and loads of pics of our favourite equines!

I have been riding at WSC since I was 4 years old. I did my BHS Stage 1 here back in 2020. I have worked with horses for a number of years. I have experience in racing, dressage, showjumping & eventing yards. I aim to ride at Grassroots.
